Just spent the last 1hr+ Writing a summary which have to be handed in tmr for the camp: to those who wan to read, here goes....

Through this camp, I have done and experience many things that I never did before.
During the first day, we spent almost the whole day in the bus. Most of us in this camp were stranger at first, except for 3 friend who came with me, after lunch, I get to know 4 new friends that I didn’t talk to before who is also in my course. Our tour guide, James, gave us a lot of information about Malaysia, like needing to pay toll when using the highway, and the different method of paying. We stop at a few rest and restaurant(R&R) in between for toilet break. We are able to see the palm tree plantation and some padi field while travelling to Alor Setar, and I get the idea of how big the plantation was. After a more than 12 hour’s bus trip, we finally reached our hotel.
Wake up for breakfast at 6.30am for day 2 and went to the harbour to take the ferry which will take us to Pulau Langkawi. Took the ferry at 11am and we reach at about 1pm. Took some photos in front of the eagle sculpture outside the harbour and learnt that Langkawi actually mean eagles in Malay. The initial plan was for cable car, but due to the rain, we have to wait for the maintenance. In between, I went to the animal farm and try feeding the animals there. It were a good experience as the rabbit and deer there were not caged and we are allowed to pet and buy feeds to feed them. After a long wait of 2hour, we gave up on the cable car and went to the “seven wells”, one of the tourist attractions in Pulau Langkawi. We were told that we have not much time left as we need to head back to the hotel later. Thus, we only visited one waterfall. It were still a great experience as it was the first time I see a waterfall and experience the water splashing down on my back. Everyone was reluctant to get wet at first, but after some went down the water, more and more started to go down. This is probably one of the most fun thing throughout the camp and it serve as an icebreaker for us as we started talking to more new friends. Play some games at night with the new friend at night, and this bond us even more. It the first time I attend a camp with such a strong bond with each other even though we just knew each other.
We head down to Pulau Payar Marine park at day three by ferry and stayed there for the whole day. In the ferry, we were able to enter the captain cabin and the captain taught us what the equipment there is use for. In Pulau Payar, we were given this option of going for a dive at RM130, which I feel is quite worth and a new experience for me. We have to learn the different sign language to use while underwater as we won‘t be able to talk while underwater from the dive master. As the pressure underwater is high, we also have to learn how to handle the pressure, like breathing out while pinching our nose. If the water enters our mask, we will also need to hold the mask and breathe out. It was a fun experience as we were able to see the rich marine life in Pulau Langkawi. Even though the view under the mask is exactly like what we saw on TV every time, we get to really feel it. Went for snorkelling after that, It were also the first time I snorkelled. Able to see many new fishes otherwise we have to see from books. Supposed to go Chuping Limestone cave which I were looking forward as have seen this word a lot of time from textbook, but have not go before, but it were cancelled. Night activities were fun as we have to listen for instruction from our partner while blindfolded,
We went for the eagle feeding at day four. I initially thought that it will be boring but the tour prove me wrong. Went for this place where we can see this fish that will shoot water at its target, e.g, food. I thought that the eagle feeding were just feeding a few eagles, but it were feeding the wild eagle around Langkawi. It was the first time I see so many eagles. There were also a lot of mangrove swamps. The guide was giving us a lot of information about the island around Pulau langkawi. We went to the cable car after that and climb up to highest peak, at 710m above sea level. As we have free time after the cable car, the tour guide took us to the biggest mall in Langakawi and this is the last activities in Pulau Langkawi.
Went to KL on day 5 and visited the Batu cave. Mr Chang taught us how the chemistry behind ho the rock are formed. We went to shopping in times square after that.
On Day 6, we went shopping again at Midvalley before a long bus trip back to Singapore.

In short, I have learnt:
1. How to dive
2. Time management(e.g, what time to wake up so that I don’t make anyone wait for me during the trip)
3. Snorkelling
4. How things are done to protect the nature in pulau langkawi
5. How chocolate are make
6. The different state in Malaysia
